Σχέδιο για «μπλόκο» στον διαδικτυακό τζόγο εξετάζει η κυβέρνηση

Νομοθετική ρύθμιση για τον χώρο των τυχερών παιχνδιών και ειδικότερα για τη χαοτική κατάσταση που επικρατεί στον διαδικτυακό τζόγο, ετοιμάζει η κυβέρνηση.

Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες που επικαλείται η εφημερίδα Ημερησία, σχετική πρόταση κατέθεσε την περασμένη Παρασκευή στη διοίκηση του ΟΠΑΠ και στο υπουργείο Οικονομικών ο καθηγητής Γ.Γεραπετρίτης.

Ο κ. Γεραπετρίτης προτείνει το «μπλοκάρισμα» των συναλλαγών μέσω πιστωτικών καρτών στο Internet, όταν αυτές απευθύνονται σε μη αδειοδοτημένες εταιρείες τυχερών παιχνιδιών.

Σήμερα, όποιος θέλει να παίξει τυχερά παιχνίδια σε εταιρείες που δραστηριοποιούνται -ηλεκτρονικά- στην Ελλάδα, μπορεί να το κάνει ανοίγοντας ένα λογαριασμό σε τράπεζα. Αυτές οι εταιρείες δεν φορολογούνται.

Καθώς η αγορά του τζόγου στην Ελλάδα μία από τις μεγαλύτερες διεθνώς (κατά κεφαλήν), το Δημόσιο χάνει εκατομμύρια ευρώ από διαφυγόντα φορολογικά έσοδα και στο υπουργείο Οικονομικών προσανατολίζονται σε συγκεκριμένα μέτρα, ώστε να τερματιστεί αυτό το καθεστώς.

Ένα από τα σενάρια που έχουν ακουστεί είναι η ενδεχόμενη αδειοδότηση μίας-δύο εταιρειών, έπειτα από διαγωνισμό, από την οποία το Δημόσιο θα μπορούσε να αντλήσει υψηλά έσοδα σε μία πολύ δύσκολη οικονομικά περίοδο.
